I want to thank everybody for their hard work.  Based on your thoughts and reflections a change has been made concerning culminating projects.  Teachers only need to plan for 2 culminating projects per grade for the year.  Teachers should plan 1 culminating project per semester.  This will allow for more flexibility and cross curricular thinking when preparing, implementing, and completing each project. 

Hopefully everybody had a wonderful summer.  I would like to welcome everybody to Warrior Web the Goodwyn online environment.  Beginning this year Goodwyn teachers and students will interact in a blended classroom environment. 

The online environment is based on the Moodle platform.  Teachers will be able to present much of their content via the web.  Additionally teachers will be to create activities, quizzes, etc. which will be hosted on the web.  Students will have the benefit of interacting with the content in either a large group, small group, or individual setting. 

Based on current information Goodwyn is the first school in the system to become become a "blended school".  The workshop titled Warrior Web: Getting Started will be vital to making our content ready for online distribution.  It will be extremely busy with a great amount of organizational work.  The expectations are great but we know it be done!
